Genuine Hotpoint Tumble Dryer Pump & Float Cover Part # C00546569

Genuine Hotpoint Tumble Dryer Pump & Float Cover C00546569

Genuine pump and float cover for tumble dryers. The cover sits over the condensation pump and float switch assembly, protecting the mechanism and helping the float move freely so the dryer can detect when the water tank or reservoir is full.

If your dryer is showing a tank full warning when the tank is empty, stopping mid cycle, or the float seems stuck or the cover is cracked or missing, replacing this part can resolve the issue. It is a straightforward part to fit for anyone comfortable doing basic appliance repairs. Before ordering, check the part number against the one you are removing from your machine to make sure it is the correct match, as covers can look similar across different models.

Key Compatibility:

Manufacturers reuse the same part across many models and change model numbers between production runs, so the safest check is your own model number rather than the brand. Enter it in the checker above and we will confirm against this part.
If you are unsure, message us with your full model number and we will confirm before you order.

Expert Installation Tip: Before replacing the cover, clean out any fluff or debris around the pump and float, as a blocked float is a far more common cause of false tank full warnings than a faulty cover.
